Somewhat shy, Little Blue Penguins (called Fairy Penguins in Australia) are the world's smallest penguin. These birds weigh in at only one kilogram and an average height of 20cm. Far more social than Yellow-eyed Penguins, 'Little Blues' arrive on the beach or rocky coasts after dark in large groups called 'rafts'
